Privacy policy

Politigoal is a free satirical game. This page says what the game collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Analytics

We measure how the game is played with an analytics service: which screens open, what is tapped, which matches are played and how they end, and errors. It keeps one identifier on your device so visits can be told apart; in Europe, only after you agree. To improve the game, we also see a replay of how the screens are used: screens and taps, without typed text. The analytics service also keeps your IP address, to tell the country and city you play from and to spot abuse. Online, the server also records searches, matches and chat messages under your player id.

Chat

Chat messages are kept in full: the text as it was typed, the text others saw, who sent it, when, and in which channel, and every report. We use them to keep the chat clean and to understand how it is used, and they are also sent to our analytics. Chat messages and reports are kept with no time limit. To have yours deleted, contact us.

The game shows ads from Google AdSense and Google's H5 Games Ads and, if switched on, from Adsterra. Ad providers may use cookies to show and measure ads. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks for consent first, in its own message.

Cookies and what stays on your device

Your device keeps your progress and settings, your online key if you have played online, your cookie choice and the analytics id (in Europe, only once you agree). Ads may add cookies of their own. Clearing the site data in your browser removes all of it.

Online

Playing online needs only a nickname. No password, no email and no real name. Other online players can see your nickname, your level and whether you are in a match. The recovery code moves your player to another device, so keep it to yourself. Our server uses IP addresses only for rate limits in memory, and never stores them.

Your choices

In Europe you can say no to analytics cookies and change your mind at any time: clear the site data and choose again. Anywhere, clearing the site data removes the analytics id. To have your online player and your chat messages deleted, write to us with your nickname.
